Born and raised in Waterbury, Connecticut, I now live in South Minneapolis with my husband Louie and our two beautiful, small-brained cats. I recently found my way into special education teaching, and my mind has never felt busier.
I studied visual art at Alfred University with a minor in education, and when I left that beautiful place in 2010, I took with me a deep appreciation for color and abstraction.
I'm navigating what it means to be a painter who rarely paints, and I'd like this website to be a place where I can look back on past work and share whatever I'm making now.
These days, I do some block printing on t-shirts and bags. I also play tennis and softball, look for agates, and watch an enormous amount of television. Send me a message if you want to compare notes on what we're watching, or if you'd like me to make you a shirt.
